You've Got to Be Kidding?

Right-wing podcast host and Trump apologist Steve Bannon told viewers on his Real America’s Voice “War Room” show that children should be taught to handle guns in school so they are not "picked on" by bullies.   Bannon claims, “We should get kids off social media and start teaching them the proper use of guns, how to defend themselves, their own self-defense,” adding that “we should make that an integrated part of the education so they're not picked on or not threatened and certainly not scared.” Why, what an innovative idea!  Put an end to school bullying by letting the kiddies loose in the schoolyard with loaded guns.   Makes you wonder why no educational institutions ever have come up with an idea like that before.   And Red State politicians could pass “Stand Your Playground” laws to legally protect school kids who have chosen to exercise their “God-given” Second Amendment rights on each other in America’s schoolyards. Not trying to hide his contempt for democracy and opposing viewpoints, soon-to-be-jailed MAGA rabble-rouser Steve Bannon spoke to a radical Catholic Christian organization, pointing out that “Christian Nationalism” is what the Democrat Party fears most.”   Bannon told the crowd that "We stand with a unique opportunity that will never come to us again.   To destroy the Democrat Party as a national political institution.”   Bannon then moved on to stoking racial fears by asking "Did you see June 2020, when they burned down Chicago, Seattle, burned down Portland, burned down New York?   Did you see that?   Are there any federal charges on that?”   I mean, talk about a Christian “love fest!” Wow, and to think I’ve been under the impression that cities like Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and New York were still there.  Gee whiz, I just talked on the phone with a friend of mine from New York the other day, and he never mentioned that the entire city had burned...

Former White House adviser Stephen K. Bannon has been indicted by a grand jury in Washington and charged with two counts of contempt of Congress, after refusing to comply with a subpoena from the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Wow, now that was one helluva Friday!  Britney freed, and Bannon charged!  Hot dog!  My, how I love the smell of fresh indictments in the morning.  Anyway, speaking of Britney Spears, would love to see a little “Oops, Merrick Garland does it again!”  You know what I’m talk’n about…Mark Meadows, Kayleigh McEnany, and Stephen Miller - come on down!  Hey, maybe they could even let Bannon have Jeffrey Epstein’s old cell?    That said, my guess is Steve Bannon should be pretty safe while he’s in prison.  After all, this is a dude so disgusting, I seriously doubt if even “Bubba” would have the stomach for any of that “nasty mess.”  Bannon’s about the only guy I can think of who ...
