Lauren Boebert, who was recently exposed for not reporting nearly $1 million her husband Jayson Boebert made over the past two years from “energy consulting,” has also been hiding the fact her husband pled guilty to "public indecency and lewd exposure” for exposing himself to two minors at a Colorado bowling alley back in 2004.   An incident that actually took place. while she was present.   Jayson Boebert was sentenced by the court to four days in jail, and given two years probation. Gee whiz, sounds like her husband may actually be an even bigger creep than she is.  Why, given those credentials, maybe it’s Jayson who should be representing Colorado’s 3rd district.  So, let’s see here, we have a guy who has minimal education, and an arrest record for lewd exposure to a minor - pulling in over $400k a year for sharing his “consulting expertise?”  Sounds perfectly legit to me. The New York Times reports that the National Rifle Association (NRA) announced it will be canceling its annual meeting in Houston, after NRA leaders consulted with medical professionals, local officials, and sponsors over concerns about the rising number of COVID cases, fueled by the Delta variant in the area. Gee, you mean to tell me that the NRA is suddenly becoming concerned about people dying?  Could Wayne LaPierre and his henchmen be going soft?  I doubt it, more likely gun manufacturers just don’t feel confident enough to try and compete with a very deadly virus - in a killing contest.  NRA bosses probably feel that by canceling the convention, they’ve “dodged a bullet.” Personally, I don’t see any reason to cancel the meeting.  Why, I haven’t seen any evidence that a handgun or an assault rifle can come down with the coronavirus.  Besides, with all those guns around in the hands of who knows who, it shouldn’t be all that difficult getting shot in the arm.  Of course, getting t

Congressional office buildings and nearby homes had to be evacuated for the third time this year, as authorities negotiated with 49-year-old North Carolina Trump supporter Floyd Ray Roseberry, who claimed to have an explosive device in his truck.   Roseberry delivered an angry tirade over a Facebook live video, in which he threatened President Biden and other Democrats, called for a revolt against the federal government, said he’s willing to “die for the cause,” and expressed confidence Donald Trump would pardon him should he be arrested. NBC News reports that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), less than a week after pleading for out-of-state medical help, is now demanding the federal government (FEMA) send him mortuary trailers, in anticipation of an influx of dead bodies as an accelerating COCID-19 continues to wreak havoc upon his state.   This is the same Gov. Abbott who fought fiercely throughout the pandemic against coronavirus preventive measures - such as social distancing, face masks, and vaccinations.   When asked about his mortuary trailer request from the Feds, Gov. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a strong Trump supporter who earlier this year signed a bill into law banning local governments from enacting mask and vaccine mandates, is now desperately looking for out-of-state medical personnel to help him staff Texas hospitals that are being overrun by a horrific surge in COVID cases throughout the state as a result of his policies.   The governor has also requested hospitals postpone all elective surgeries until further notice. The Miami Herald reported that Florida reported a record 22,783 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, its highest single-day case count since the pandemic began last year, as the state continues its record-breaking hospitalizations for the fifth straight day in a row.  Meanwhile, the San Antonio Express-News torched the GOP governors of both Texas and Florida, for using their states' citizens as COVID guinea pigs in a political stunt, as the two Republican governors continue trying to outdo one another in prohibiting commonsense policies to contain the crisis. According to filings recently made public, former President Donald Trump’s political action committees have raised an incredible $82 million in the first six months of this year, making that a whopping $102 million they have on hand.  In addition, Trump has broad latitude over how he can spend the money, and this massive haul reveals how the former president has been able to reap large financial rewards, simply by claiming “the election was stolen” from him.
