You've Got to Be Kidding?

Right Wing Watch is reporting that after the recent defeat of Herschel Walker by Rafael Warnock in Georgia, Mississippi MAGA pastor Shane Vaughn is outraged that rural MAGA Republicans are being outvoted by folks in large urban areas who tend to vote “Blue.”   So, he is now demanding that states abandon the 17th Amendment and abolish direct, popular voting for US Senators, replacing that with a “statewide Electoral College-like system.”   Pastor Vaughn says this is desperately needed because "We cannot defeat the ‘population centers’ without the Electoral College.” Yes pastor, because nothing says “justice and freedom,” quite like taking away people’s right to vote!  That said, I do understand the point the good pastor is trying to make here.   First and foremost, he believes “its a damn shame that states have to have big cities in them.”   I mean, how dare these Libtards push the idea that people who live in urban areas also deserve a say in how they’re govern...

Taking issue with Democrats moving from blue states to red states, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) suggested temporarily barring Democrats from voting, claiming “brainwashed people” really need a “cooling-off period” before being allowed to vote again.   She further added that Democrat voters have ruined states like California and New York, and she doesn’t want to see them ruining the culture of great states like Georgia, Texas, and Florida.   Greene says what we need is a "national divorce scenario,” - meaning breaking everything up into red states and blue states. Wait a minute!  You mean Marjorie Taylor Greene plans to prohibit people from voting, in order to “prevent liberals from destroying what our country stands for?”  Oh, now I see her point!  Let those “libtards” vote, and the next thing you know, they’ll start resolving issues by common-sense governance and marrying people who aren’t even close relatives.  Can’t have any of that nonsense goin...

On their weekend show, Fox & Friends hosts Will Cain, Pete Hegseth, and Rachel Campos-Duffy promoted an idea which has is being floated by Ohio Republican Senate candidate J.D. Vance, that "childless" Americans should not be allowed to participate in society by voting, because the "childless left" has no real stake in America. In discussing the controversial issue, the Fox hosts labeled the proposal - an “interesting idea.”  No kidding?  Seems like Fox has been into quite a few “interesting ideas” over the years, such as two failed Middle East wars, labeling the coronavirus a hoax, fear-mongering about vaccinations, supporting an insurrection, and ending all regulations for the thieves on Wall Street. Anyway, if this “only people with children should vote” logic is correct, shouldn’t we then be giving the biggest vote to our dogs, cats, and (especially) pet rabbits?  After all, they tend to have really large families.  Fact is, I’d definitely trust them as ...
