You've Got to Be Kidding?

T he Dailey Beast reports that a Manhattan jury has convicted the Trump Organization of multiple counts of tax fraud and conspiracy over its use of perks such as cars and tuition, to skirt taxable salary payments to a number of its employees, including CFO Allen Weisselberg and Controller Jeffrey McConney.   The organization faces $1.6 million in fines. Naturally, Donald Trump is calling this verdict just another “witch hunt.”  No kidding, and from the looks of it, that New York jury - has just found their “witch.”   I mean, there has to be a point when there are so many “witch hunts” going on, that one can only conclude that Trump is either a crook, or he’s actually a witch.   I mean, this verdict wasn't about some employee just grabbing $100 dollars from the petty cash drawer. According to corporate filings in the United States and Scotland, the Trump Organization has removed former chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg from his leadership roles at more than 40 Trump subsidiary companies, after his indictment on 15 felony counts - including “grand larceny and tax fraud.” Well, with Weisselberg gone, I guess the next logical step would be bring MyPillow guy Mike Lindell in to run things.  I mean, what other fool would wanna jump into this mess, unless you’re really into orange jumpsuits?  And, who better than Mike Lindell to get that cash flow rolling again?  Of course, it’ll all be laundered Russian mob money, but who cares - when it’s all off the books anyway? Trump Departs White House to Find His Company in Shambles:   Donald Trump returns to his company this week, to find it facing an ever-deepening crisis, with key properties bleeding revenue and its bankers, lawyers, and customers, all fleeing the company en masse, due to the Trump name becoming so toxic.   Records indicate that Trump is facing more than $450 million in outstanding loans, including $290 million on his Doral golf course and his D.C. hotel alone. Why, it sounds like Mr. Trump needs to undertake a major rebranding effort, if he ever wants to make a financial comeback.  And, since just about every sane person here on Earth is abandoning him, perhaps it’s time he starts focusing on business ventures that match his “supporter’s demographics.”  Now personally, I’d suggest he forget about all those fancy resorts, and start a new chain of trailer parks.  Why, he could even name them “Trump’s Last Resorts.”   Next, it’s time to ditch all ...
