Trump Still Claiming Russia Booted From G8 for Outsmarting Obama:   President Donald Trump tweeted that he’d “most certainly” invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to the group’s next summit, after doubling down on his claim that Russia got booted from the G8 simply because Russia “outsmarted” former President Barack Obama - when it illegally invaded and annexed Crimea in 2014. Ivanka Attended President Trump’s Meeting with Kim Jong-un:   After being totally ignored while trying to insert herself into an informal conversation among G20 leaders in Japan, Ivanka Trump stirred up even more controversy after North Korean TV revealed that the first daughter was right there with her father at his historic Korean border meeting with Kim Jong-un. On a positive note, if anyone attending those meetings happened to need some tips on topics such as “how to match their handbag to their shoes,” Ivanka would have been an invaluable resource - go USA!  Hell, you’d think in return, Kim could have at least offered Trump a complimentary haircut, but nooooooo! The sad part is, even though Ivanka Trump has absolutely no foreign policy experience or qualifications whatsoever, she’s still no doubt, eminently more qualified than her grifter father to be advising on those issues. Trump Once Again Claims His Father Was Born in Germany:   While expressing frustration about Germany not paying their fair-share towards NATO, Trump once again claimed that he has always loved Germany, because his father was born there - even though his father was actually born in New York. So, it turns out that the guy who’s been chiding Elizabeth Warren for so long about being Native American - tells lies about his heritage?  Say it ain’t so!  Now some of you may ask, so President Trump loves Germany?  What’s the big deal?  Nothing, I suppose - except that it appears the Germany Donald Trump loves, was the Germany of 1939 - not 2019. Trump Nominates Billionaire Donor Kelly Knight Craft as UN Ambassador:   Donald Trump announced he has nominated Kelly Knight Craft - the US ambassador to Canada, a prominent Republican donor and the wife of billionaire coal magnate Joseph Craft - to be the United States ambassador to the United Nations. Come on!  Trump’s nominating the wife of a “prominent coal magnate” to be our ambassador to the United Nations?  That’s just crazy!  Why - with qualifications like that, she be heading up the EPA.  That said, she has been our ambassador to Canada and she’s had the guts to stand up to that wicked “Maple Menace” to the north for a while now.  That should mean something.    But don’t think that just because much of her wealth comes from coal - she’ll be biased.  After all, when the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation asked her if she believed in climate change, she told then she believes “both sides” of the climate change debate.  ...
