Trump Calls the New Jobs Report a Great Day for George Floyd: After welcoming a surprisingly strong US jobs report on Friday, President Donald Trump ignited some serious controversy by claiming it was a "great day" for George Floyd - the man whose death in custody last week unleashed nationwide protests.
Well, nothing like a totally insensitive and inflammatory remark like that to get those Trump cultists ready to grab their pom-poms and shake, shake, shake - in splendid admiration for their “Dear Leader.”
Trump has somehow managed to turn this country into the “Bizzaro States of America” - a place where bad is now good, up is down, lies are truth, tragedies are awesome and dyslexics make great typists. “Grape Kool-Aid anyone?” “Oh, I’ll have a sip of what Mr Orwell’s drinking.”
