Marjorie Taylor Greene’s January 6th Celebration Canceled by Florida Resort


Marjorie Taylor Greene’s planned January 6th insurrection anniversary event has been suddenly canceled by the Westgate Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, because the resort claims they were lied to about the nature of the event, stating that the Republican Party of Osceola County portrayed the event as simply a “book signing,” and not a celebration of the January 6th insurrection. 

Gee, kinda sounds like the good folks of Kissimmee, Florida, are telling Marge to “kiss off!!  Why would Greene wanna hold the event down in Florida, anyway?  One would think she’d hold it in her own district where it could bring in tourist dollars.  I guess its been so long since she’s even been in her district; she probably forgot how to get there.  Interesting how even these hard-core Florida Republican business types want nothing to do with her shenanigans.  Makes you wonder - can't a lying, self-promoting, insurrectionist hack catch an even break anymore these days?

Personally, I blame the resort itself for falling for this fiasco in the first place.  I mean, come on!  A group affiliated with Marjorie Taylor Greene is having a “book signing?”  Get real!  Everyone knows Marjorie Taylor Greene’s followers don’t “read books” - they “burn them.”  That is, unless there are pictures in them that they could color with their crayon sets.  Frankly, I’m a little surprised Trump hasn’t offered free space at his Mar-a-Lago resort for her latest moneymaking scheme.  He seems like such a generous man.

Oh, well!  I guess my only question would be, “Why would she and her MAGA thugs want to ‘celebrate’ the January 6th insurrection in the first place?"  Especially, when she, Steve Bannon, and all their MAGA pals are claiming January 6th was nothing but a “false flag operation.”  Could that mean she’ll be celebrating the organizations she’s blaming for the insurrection?  You know, like Antifa, BLM, and the FBI?  Hell, what’s next for these MAGAs - celebrating the Lincoln assassination, Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and the Johnstown flood of 1889?
