Trump Calls for Civility After Bombs Sent to Opponents: President Trump is calling for more civility after pipe bombs were mailed to two former presidents as well as numerous other prominent Democrats, former Obama CIA director and Trump critic John Brennan, the CNN headquarters in New York and liberal billionaire activist George Soros’ home.
Now this civility he’s asking for sounds like a grand idea - assuming he isn’t defining “civility" as having some secret slush fund pay all the bomber’s legal bills. I mean, remember back when Trump said he could shoot someone in the street and not lose any votes? I think we're there folks.
Meanwhile, prominent Trump supporters are already propagating conspiracy theories such as “the liberals sent these bombs to themselves.” Which actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it - I mean, Hillary sent that deadly bomb to herself - just as she colluded with Russia to lose the last presidential election.
So, if I get their drift, apparently those of us who are opposed to Trump’s policies are now personally responsible for not only organizing the immigrant caravan, but also these terrorist bombs and - lest we forget - the Dow completely tanking this week. My, my - that George Soros guy sure has been mighty busy man.
Meanwhile, during a rally in Wisconsin, Trump told his loyal and faithful followers that its the media’s hostility that is the root cause of these attempted bombing incidents - and the President demonstrated exactly how civility is supposed to work, by leading his followers in rabid chants of “the media is the enemy of the people” and “CNN sucks!”
Anyway, perhaps after they finally catch this bomber, they could have him or her testify before another one of those special senate committees. I can just visualize the bomber’s testimony now - “I make bombs, OK? I like bombs. I make a lot of bombs. Do you like bombs, Senator?"
