New Research Shows Crocodiles Were Once Vegetarians:  New research lead by a geobiology graduate student at the University of Utah indicates that ancient crocodiles were most likely vegetarians at least three separate times during their evolution.  Researchers say there were able to reach that conclusion only after finding numerous remnants of discarded “Impossible Burger” wrappers near the fossil remains. 



Second U.S. City Passes Ban on Facial Recognition Technology:  The city of Somerville, Massachusetts has become the second U.S. city to ban its municipal government from ever using facial recognition facial recognition technology, over fears it'll pave the way for mass surveillance.  Of course, on a positive note - they’ll never have to worry technology like that in places like Beverly Hills, Manhattan or Miami.  I mean, those people have had so many facelifts, you’re never quite sure of who or even what you’re looking at anyway.




Trade War May Permanently Damage U.S. Chip Industry:  Tech industry analysts say President’s Trump’s current trade war with countries like China could very well end up permanently damaging the US chip industry.  Wow, I understand a few tech items may end up costing a bit more, but why stop eating potato chips?

Anti-Vax Newsmax Host Says Diseases are Supposed to Kill People

Conservative network Newsmax has been forced to “distance itself” from remarks uttered by host Rob Schmitt this week, who claimed that vaccines go "against nature" because diseases are "supposed to wipe out a certain amount of people,” and that vaccinations “unnaturally interfere with viruses' designs on killing people.” Wow, kinda looks like the “Schmitt” has really hit the fan over at Newsmax.  So, they want to “distance” themselves from Schmitt’s remarks, do they?  Gee, makes you wonder if the morons who run Newsmax know they actually have the option not hire anti-science nitwits like Schmitt as anchors in the first place?  Not to worry though, should Schmitt get fired, I'm sure folks like Kevin McCarthy or Rand Paul would warmly welcome him to become part of their staffs. Mike Huckabee Claims COVID-19 Death Risk Small and Sin Risk Lethal:   Former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has stirred some controversy with medical professionals by claiming that the risk of death from coronavirus is very “minimal,” but “sin is 100% lethal.
