Hubble Spots Mysterious Large Dark Spot Forming on Neptune:  Astronomers say they are now trying to identify a huge dark spot which the Hubble telescope has spotted at 23 degrees north latitude on Neptune.  Scientists say that while they still haven’t identified exactly what the dark spot is, they are fairly certain it is not malignant.



Scottish Has Woman Lived Entire Life Without Feeling Pain:  A 71-year-old Scottish grandmother with a genetic mutation thought there was nothing abnormal about the fact that she could undergo surgery, have dental work done, break bones, endure serious burns - all without the aid of painkillers.  Well, I’m certainly no expert on genetic mutations in Scotland, but if you ask me - a little nip or two of some of that Macallan 18-year-old single malt they make over there can kill just about any pain you have equally as well. 




Researchers Excited Over Examining Ancient Hyena Dung:  Dutch researchers say they are very excited over finding a curled-up brown fossil that is believed to be a piece of very ancient hyena dung.  Excited about examining a big ugly glob of hyena crap?  You can bet the hyenas would get yet another “good laugh” out of that one.

Anti-Vax Newsmax Host Says Diseases are Supposed to Kill People

Conservative network Newsmax has been forced to “distance itself” from remarks uttered by host Rob Schmitt this week, who claimed that vaccines go "against nature" because diseases are "supposed to wipe out a certain amount of people,” and that vaccinations “unnaturally interfere with viruses' designs on killing people.” Wow, kinda looks like the “Schmitt” has really hit the fan over at Newsmax.  So, they want to “distance” themselves from Schmitt’s remarks, do they?  Gee, makes you wonder if the morons who run Newsmax know they actually have the option not hire anti-science nitwits like Schmitt as anchors in the first place?  Not to worry though, should Schmitt get fired, I'm sure folks like Kevin McCarthy or Rand Paul would warmly welcome him to become part of their staffs. Mike Huckabee Claims COVID-19 Death Risk Small and Sin Risk Lethal:   Former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has stirred some controversy with medical professionals by claiming that the risk of death from coronavirus is very “minimal,” but “sin is 100% lethal.
